Keyboard Shortcuts

Zenspire supports a variety of keyboard shortcuts to help you work more efficiently.

Global Shortcuts

These shortcuts can be used at any time within the application.

`⇧ Shift + ⌘ Cmd + N`	Create a new folder (context-aware).
`⌃ Ctrl + ⌘ Cmd + N`	Create a new top-level folder.
`⌥ Opt + ⌘ Cmd + N`	Create a new collection.
`⌘ Cmd + N`	Open a new window.
`⌘ Cmd + ,`	Open the Settings window.
`⇧ Shift + ⌘ Cmd + A`	Toggle the “Always on Top” window behavior.
`⇧ Shift + ⌘ Cmd + H`	Toggle “Show Items in Subfolders” view.
`⌘ Cmd` + `Q`	Quit Zenspire.

These shortcuts are active when the Image Grid is in focus.

Shortcut	Action
`↑` `↓` `←` `→`	Navigate between image thumbnails.
`⌘ Cmd` + `Click`	Add or remove a single image from the current selection.
`⇧ Shift` + `Click`	Select a continuous range of images.
`Spacebar`	Open Quick Look for the selected image(s).
`.`	Favorite or Unfavorite the selected image(s).
`P`	Pin or Unpin the selected image(s).
`⌘ Cmd + C`	Copy selected image(s) to the clipboard.
`⌘ Cmd + V`	Paste image(s) from the clipboard into the selected folder.
`⌘ Cmd + ⌫`	Delete the selected image(s).
`⌥ Opt + ⌘ Cmd + ⌫`	Remove the selected image(s) from the currently viewed collection.
`⌘ Cmd` + `Arrow Keys`	Toggle the selection in the direction of the arrow.
`⇧ Shift` + `Arrow Keys`	Extend the selection range in the direction of the arrow.

These shortcuts are active when the Quick Look panel is open.

Shortcut	Action
`←` `→`	Navigate to the previous or next image in the panel.
`⌘ Cmd` + `Return`	Toggle between single image and grid (index sheet) view.
`Spacebar` or `Esc`	Close the Quick Look panel.
